Summary

Amends the

Health Insurance Act 1973
to increase the extended Medicare safety net threshold from $300 to $500 for concession card holders and families in receipt of Family Tax Benefit Part A, and from $700 to $1000 for all other families and individuals, with effect from 1 January 2006.
